Project 2: Pros and Cons Poster
This is my Pros and Cons poster. It consists of many detailed reasons of why people should/shouldn't attend college. I gathered the information from many valid, reliable sources, and consider this project a success because it fulfilled all my requirements, and displayed the data in a neat, and organized way.
If it's hard to read the pros and cons off the poster, read the list below.
PROS~
1) Freedom to make your own choices
2) Self Improvement- A perfect place to start over and forget the past
3) Have fun, meet new people, and make friends- People attend college from far away places, and it's the perfect opportunity to expand you social group, and make friends that will last forever
4) Discover New Things About Yourself
5) College is a chance to solve issues- Like work life balance, having it all and beyond
6) Having a roommate provides a degree of comfort- Whether you choose to live with a friend from home or somebody you met at a new student weekend of your first semester, you probably know at least some defining details about the person you will be living with for a year. Making the roommate situation less awkward
7) Learn time management, responsibility, hot to save money, initiative, and make the right choices
8) Having a degree will make your more successful in getting a job
9) You get to coordinate your purchases for your room
CONS~
1) Stressful- Packing, choosing the perfect school, balancing fun and your academics
2) You may get stuck with a roommate who makes it difficult to explore other aspects of yourself- Your roommate maybe clingy, and you will never get any work done, or they maybe messy, and rude, and make your feel uncomfortable living with them
3) Challenging Courses- You may be there on an academic scholarship, and start failing in a certain subject, and struggle with maintaining a certain GPA. Resulting you to be in jeopardy of loosing your scholarship, and having to pay a higher tuition fee
4) College is time consuming- You can spend most of your life trying to earn a degree that maybe you won't need in the future. Not all jobs require a degree
5) Might not get anything out of your experiences- They didn't prepare you for what you wanted to do in your future
6) A college degree doesn't guarantee a job in your field after graduation- Even if you excelled in a certain course, your degree doesn't promise you a job. You still have to work hard, and prove you're able to handle the responsibility of your future career
7) Struggle of existing in a structural way
8) Financial Burdens- Cost for a college may be crippling, and you may have difficulty paying for it
9) Adjusting to new illusions about a real college experience
